Chay Cuozzi is a collaboration between artist duo, Chay and her husband, Robert, both graduates of Rhode Island School of Design. Together, with their backgrounds in fine art and design, they bring a wide range of influences to their work, from Abstract Expressionism to Mid-Century Modern. The couple is particularly inspired by such masters as Matisse, Picasso, and Rothko, and equally influenced by the vogue fashions of the late 1960’s and early 1970’s. Their richly colored pendants reflect a modern vibe with couture flair. Each piece is individually cut and shaped by hand, blending layers of color to achieve the desired shade and translucency. Each piece is a one of a kind, blending a colorful palette of fine glass and precious metals with a touch of eccentricity. "We believe each piece is a statement, either worn strolling down the streets of Milan or skipping out to the Hampton’s, reflecting its own inner spirit, bold sense of style, and individuality of the person who wears it.”
